Can you help?

Hi there,

I am not really into boxing, but I came accross this website when I was doing a search about my great uncle: Jean-Claude Pichard.

I knew he was a boxer, but I didn't know much more about him...

After doing a quick search on the web I came accross some of his records on boxrec (http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=110951). But nothing else. So here comes the question:

Does any of you know anything about him? Or do you know where I could find out more about him?
He died quite young and I have no memories of him whatsoever. I just want to know a bit more about him...

I would suggest that you track down the gym he trained at, local newspapers where he lived and had fights.

I would also suggest you add any further info you currently have as this may help anyone looking to give you some help.

I looked on the newspaperarchive.com and could find no details about him.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply and your advice.
I'll try and look at some French newspapers to see if there is anything about him there. But the gym he trained at... I haven't a clue! probably somewhere in the south suburbs of Paris... I'm not even sure that my mum (his niece) could help me on this one.
