Much credit to Brook he caught Spence a couple times in fight and fought with much heart threw out the rounds.Even when he took a knee from swelling from eye,he would've still continue to fight if he could see

:TU:

He lost to the best Welterweight in the world in a highly competitive fight. No shame at all.

Yeah I was rooting for Brook, and he gave a good effort, but Spence too good.

I would still actually back Brook to beat either Porter again or Thurman. But I doubt Thurman would go anywhere near him now.

It would be pointless. He should be fighting Spence.

Credit for good effort wats this medals for loser he's a world class fighter that's what they do suppose to in defeat. His eye might be jeopardy if he keep fighting. Typical UK fan what to give credit for there guys in defeat instead of the winner credit.

Kell Brook needs an easy fight now, one with some money in it. Yes he should fight Khan. Then move up.

SMHH then Brook actually wants to move up to 154,when he can't defeat a few of the welterweights,"I said a few not all welterweights".Its a trip how Brook and his team has a nerve to think about Triple G rematch.

Just to say he gave his all in his defeat, also you and I know a lot of fighters at welterweight wouldn't even fight Errol Spence,so credit his heart.

Brook should fight Khan at 154 in a all British Matchup.

If he's broken his eye socket again I'm concerned how he'll look after another operation. Can't keep having his socket cave in like that.

Have a day off. These guys have put on a great show I see nobody handing medals out to losers or not giving the winner credit

Yeah I know it's worrying for him. I really like the guy and fighter, but if it's another broken eye socket, you fear for his career. I think the knowledge of knowing how dangerous the injury was played demons in his head a little at the end

My fault sound like a UK fan. Most US poster don't post credit to loser without mentioning the winner.

:TU: Perfect for him if all goes well with his injurys. It would be a big seller in the UK for sure. I could see Khan backing out because there is no belt now, but who else can he get a decent payday out of?

True... Kell Brook's loss won't stop him.

Brook will be back... But he's not going to beat this kid at anytime... I think Spence-Thurman will light it up a little better than this fight... Could be the best Welterweight Fight of all time and very complimentary styles... Something was always missing when Shawn Porter was matched against Brook and Thurman... Porter is a great fighter but there was always something just a little untidy about those 2 match-ups... Even about Spence-Brook and Thurman-Garcia... You had a certain sense that these fights would disappoint a little -- and though Spence-Brook was great it wasn't a perfect match-up

With the Spence-Thurman match-up we finally have the real deal... It's like Joshua-Klitschko... A fight is happening when those 2 guys meet in the ring

Brook is a very good fighter, and I had him winning through 7, but the breakdown of his eyes is worrying...seems like an issue that will just get worse too, and I doubt it takes elite guys like Spence and GGG to puff them up in the future.

Spence should be a favourite against all the other welterweights, though he may've been even before today. Run Time Thurman may as well bring his track shoes...

Brook definitely made a good account of himself, being narrowly the better fighter for the first 6-7 rounds before his eyesight changed all of that. I hope he eventually returns to fighting world class opponents, but he will have to really give time for his eyes to heal. It would be dumb to fight more dangerous opponents too soon.

He voluntarily jacked it with 1 round to go... he apparently fought against GGG with the same damage for 3 rounds??? He knew he was beat he'd been dropped twice and quit..

You may be right. I just watched this video of the GGG-Brook finish and the left eye tonight looked MUCH WORSE than Brook's right eye looked at the end of the GGG fight!!
