I respect Kovalev’s sporting ability. He’s genuine pound-for-pound talent... and his fights are genuinely enjoyable to watch.

Although I don’t appreciate his persistent penchant for making bigoted comments though. He doesn’t have to play the role of the bad guy, since all it achieves is to self-harm his image.

What do you think of the video though? Since Jackson himself has already openly admitted to being willing to defect to Ward's training camp if he was paid enough?

I'd say there's probably more to this than what meets the eye. Though I agree with a fair bit of what's said, it doesn't sound like a trusting solid relationship they have.

I don’t know whether Andre Ward was embellishing about the severity of Kovalev’s alleged rage towards Jackson, but “verbal violence” is an actual term that is supposed to be synonymous with the phrase “verbal abuse”, whereby one person bully’s their victim whilst issuing threats, which itself can cause psychological harm... hence the reason for the use of the word "violence".

Duva was right about Roc Nation. The biggest fight out there and all they can come up with is soap opera gossip. With Cotto leaving and Ward retiring I can see them going under very soon. And noone is going to miss them.

Historically corruption in Boxing has been 10 times worse in America than elsewhere... I never trusted King, Arum, DiBella, De La Hoya, or Haymon.
