ANDRE WARD REVEALS KOVALEV GOT "VERBALLY VIOLENT" WITH TRAINER JOHN DAVID JACKSON

I just saw an interesting video and posted it. I did not express a single personal opinion on this matter, but I do admit to being pretty intrigued about Ward’s claims.Ossyrules wrote:You really don't like Kovalev do you!
Verbally violent = had an arguement

Why would you criticise me without even looking at the video? You responded within seconds of me posting this?
I merely quoted the title of the video itself - they aren't even my words.
I respect Kovalev’s sporting ability. He’s genuine pound-for-pound talent... and his fights are genuinely enjoyable to watch.Ossyrules wrote:Slow down compadre you move too soonEnlightened-One wrote:I just saw an interesting video and posted it. There's no criticism at all. It's an observation over time spent here that it's fairly clear that you're not much of a fan of kovalev.
No need to be so defensive
I don’t know whether Andre Ward was embellishing about the severity of Kovalev’s alleged rage towards Jackson, but “verbal violence” is an actual term that is supposed to be synonymous with the phrase “verbal abuse”, whereby one person bully’s their victim whilst issuing threats, which itself can cause psychological harm... hence the reason for the use of the word "violence".Ossyrules wrote:I'd say there's probably more to this than what meets the eye. Though I agree with a fair bit of what's said, it doesn't sound like a trusting solid relationship they have.
Verbally violent sounds like an expressive term for a dispute in all honesty though

He has always been dirty inside the ring, now he becomes dirty all around.gilgamesh wrote:What is this Mickey Mouse bullsh*t Andre Ward is trying to pull where he keeps putting so much focus on John David Jackson?

Yeaaaah because foreigners never get a fair shake in the States? Oh wait yeah they do. By the way Kovalev has spent basically his entire pro career living in the US. Let's not act like "foreignors" can't win decisions in the states. They do all the time. This isn't the U.K., Germany or Russia when it comes to boxing corruption.asdfjkl wrote:*Just win rounds, just win the rounds, that should give us the win*
*No, we are not in Russia, we are in America!*
*Yea, I know, just win all the rounds!*
*No, I'd have to KO him, otherwise we lose!*
*You already knocked him down, you're far superior!*
*That's not enough, if he isn't KO before the final ring we lost!*
It was probably something like that, Kovalev was right.
Oh really? Show me a few examples in the US and another few examples in those countries as well?diddy wrote:Yeaaaah because foreigners never get a fair shake in the States? Oh wait yeah they do. Historically corruption in Boxing has been 10 times worse in America than elsewhere... I never trusted King, Arum, DiBella, De La Hoya, or Haymon.diddy wrote:Yeaaaah because foreigners never get a fair shake in the States? Oh wait yeah they do.
