The trash talk will be epic

The fans are stupid, cause 2 millions or more will buy the ppv instead of finding a non costing way to watch this circus

Conor will totaly get school and gas out after 4 rounds. All mma fighters have poor condition

Total circus!!

Nonetheless I'll plop down $10 to watch it at the neighborhood grill. Both Floyd & McGregor are hated in my area, so it will probably be more entertaining to watch the crowd than the fight!!

It's more like a handicapped match. McGregor at too much of a disadvantage to take this matchup seriously. Not plunking down any money for it. If someone I know buy's the fight and invite's me over sure I'd see it.

I don't really understand why any boxing fan would want to see Mayweather fight such a bad boxer in a match with boxing rules. I'd be marginally interested in Mayweather fighting Lara, the Charlos, or Andrade. But Mayweather vs McGregor is like... the most lopsided sh*tfest imaginable. They should've at least agreed on some hybrid rules that allowed elbows or takedowns (that would immediately result in being stood up, like in sanshou). Seriously, any boxing fan who believes that Mayweather would humiliate Vanes Martirosyan can't possibly think McGregor would do any better. McGregor hasn't even boxed anyone. Why not just Mayweather vs Ja Rule or Macaulay Culkin?

mayweather by ko 5-6, get yer money on boys ! McGregor won't seem so handy once he got those bigger gloves on and dancing to floyds tune, hitting fresh air and eating jabs and right hands for a few rounds will suck the life out of him, easy money

I will make a bold prediction by suggesting that the WBC will create a special bespoke "commemorative" belt to celebrate the Mayweather-McGregor event, which will subsequently be declined by both fighters, due to the fact that Mauricio Sulaiman's governing body will expect to receive a 3% sanctioning fee from both men's purses.

Probably just come in low 150s and not cut water. Why bother?

Doubt McGregor wants to go much below 154 these days..

McGregor 6/1 at most books right now.
Mayweather sitting about 1/12.

Wouldn't even consider a McGregor bet until about 20/1.

As if Floyd ever cared what the other side wants. He made sure to drain Canelo.

Wonder if Cotto pushes his comeback fight to a different date.

Like it or not, this will probably be 2nd biggest match in history.. financially.

Should be a HW fight, as Connor has no chances regardless of weight. The only intrigue is if Floyd stops him.

MMA fighter generally have super condition, but very poor boxing skills... However this is can be corrected with practice, practice, practice...

Question... How does Floyd stop anybody but Victor Ortiz in 4 rounds????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Collazo stopped VO in 2 rounds... Berto stopped VO in 4 rounds... even Josesito and Maidana made VO quit... Conor is likely going longer than VO.

This is the Snake River Canyon Motorcycle Jump all over again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llzIVDbvSAc ... No motorcycle was seen.

Mayweather has fought at light middleweight multiple times, and it was always against opponents who were significantly better boxers than McGregor. As long as they are using boxing's rules, this is going to Mayweather's easiest fight in a long time, regardless of weight.

You think McGregor would beat Floyd 1 in 20 times? Or has a 5% probability?

Gatti was a real World Champion Boxer... McGregor is a World Champion Mixed Martial Arts Master... When it's supposed to be a motorcycle jump, aren't you supposed to have a motorcycle??? ... Robbie Knievel really did jump over (part of) the Grand Canyon with a real motorcycle... Nobody cared.
