World Boxing Super Series, Cruiserweights

Who's your favorite to win the whole thing and what kind of fights do you want to see? (More like, is there any fight you don't want to see?)

Personally, i don't need Huck-Briedis II (a total repeat). Rather match them up against someone else.

Note: Usyk, Makabu & Masternak are NOT confirmed yet. Usyk will likely join, and the other two may or may not. Others in talks are Krzystof Glowacki, Dmitry Kudryashov and Youri Kalenga.

You have two votes. Choose them wisely!

Edit: My personal thoughts... Masternak & Makabu both lost against Bellew, plus both didn't look great in other recent fights (vs Sillakh, vs Mchunu). Highly unlikely, either of them takes the crown. Wlodarczyk is great, but too old, don't think he can beat the youth. And Huck? Already lost to Briedis.

Leaves me with these:

Gassiev, Briedis, Dorticos, Usyk. Either one can take it home, IMO. My favs? If i had to decide, would be Usyk & Gassiev.

Usyk would win i think but Gassiev and Briedis are both good contenders too.

i never heard before there are talks about Masternak joining the tournament but Rafael said Glowacki would likely participate. so bad Lebedev is off.

Usyk vs Kudryashov
Briedis vs Glowacki
Gassiev vs Wlodarczyk
Dorticos vs Huck

that would be great.

Glowacki is in and I imagine usyk will pick him to fight. If Huck is in I imagine breidis would pick him. Can't say I'd be overly excited for those rematches, but overall it should be great.

I don't think Usyk would shy away from others, he would probably seek the challenge & rather fight someone else, instead of Glowacki again. Also, Huck said he doesn't care about his opponent. If he wants to win the tournament, he's gotta beat all of them, and he doesn't mind in which order. But i'd be with you, i wouldn't want to see it again either.

So yeah, there are 3 match-ups i don't want to see:

Huck-Briedis
Huck-Glowacki
Usyk-Glowacki

I don't think usyk or breidis would shy away from anything, otherwise they wouldn't enter. That being said, with 3 fights in 10 months it's hard to imagine them not picking an opponent they already handled easily. Not that the rematches couldn't be better.

Whilst I think Usyk should be favourite, Breidis is my pick.
