Just browsing through some of the venues this weekend & some of the names made me chuckle.

Buckhead Fight Club in Atlanta

What's the strangest name of a fight venue you've come across?

The Hand Arena in Clevedon. Apart from a strange name it was a weird venue. It was an equestrian arena and smelt of horse shit.

The Sobell Centre seemed odd to me as well.

I'm working at the Knights of St Columba one and have been there previously for amateur shows. Doesn't seem a funny name for me having known of the society for most of my life.

I remember years ago Tommy Gilmour put a couple of shows in Clydebank at a venue called the Playdrome. Never been there myself though. Can't think of anywhere I have been with a strange name.
