Loma and Crawford both on ESPN in August

Post by armageto »

Loma against Marriaga on Aug 5th and Crawford vs Indongo Aug 19th to unify all the belts. HBO doesn't have much left to offer boxing fans it seems....

HBO has one foot out the door. No reason to blame them, boxing doesn't deliver for the money they spend.

Yeah, I have very little interest in that. Honestly, it's great to see bigger boxing on ESPN but I don't see marriega or indongo winning a round.

At least the Indongo unifies all the belts. The Marriaga is rather disappointing, but at least should make for good action, even if one sided.

I like the Crawford/Indongo, all 4 belts so its a chance to have an undisputed champ for only the 3rd time in the 4 belt era after Hopkins and Taylor, Terence wins comfortably enough on points for me but I am interested to see how he deals with Indongo's style, he's never fought anyone like Indongo before, he might have to be more aggressive than usual

Lomachenko/Marrriaga is poor, it will be a carbon copy of Loma's last fight against Sosa

Loma fight is d joke. Why cant he fight berchelt?

But dongo n craw are the 2 best in the division. Great fight. If tc wins this one than he realy has 0 to prove at his div. Fought and beat the best. Next stop 147

Pacquiao, Ward, Lomachenko and Crawford are all fighting on non-HBO networks from now on.

I really do hope that HBO can somehow agree to start funding boxing events again, because their lack of involvement is disastrous for the sports’ long-term future in the US.

He's fighting July 15th, so how would he be ring ready by Aug 8th?
