Timekeeper's continuous screwups

Post by gilgamesh »

By the way am I the only one that noticed the timekeeper rang the bell early 3 times tonight?

The last round of the Mosley Jr. vs Touissant fight ended with 12 seconds still left to go.

The 3rd round of the Jerwin Ancajas vs Teiru Kinoshita fight ended with 17 seconds still left to go

The final round of Horn vs Pac ended with about 8 seconds still left

It was a consistent problem throughout the card.

Did you time them, or is you comment based on screen time? Queensland's Alan Simpson & Victoria's Damian Membrey are the best there is.
On screen timer is usually up shite creek, hence the reason it's ditched anywhere between 15 & 10 seconds remaining.

I went by the on screen time, but it kept being off by different margins every time.

Twice when the bell rang early the visiting fighter needed a knockout to win....just sayin'

Apparently nobody cares, but rules exist for a reason.

F*ck it...why have rules at all then.

Rounds can end whenever the hell..

TKO's can be achieved with low blows...

Don't mind me, I just remember when sh*t like this used to matter.

This injustice is being completely ignored...like it doesn't even matter. Don't be surprised when it happens again. When they figure out they can get this one over on fans and nobody will give a sh*t this will become as common as bogus decisions.

Get ready for 34 minute, 12 rounders in the near future.
