Chris van Heerden challenges Jeff Horn

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Van Heerden told Sky Sports..

"My manager deals with Horn's management, and there's a possibility I could fight him if Pacquiao doesn't do the rematch,"

"We're rated with the WBA, WBO and IBF and we want a shot at a world title. We're No 14 with the WBO so come on Jeff, give me a shot."

"I would absolutely go Down Under to fight him."

"I thought Horn would get knocked out but he came out blazing, he gave it his all," Van Heerden said. "He almost got stopped in round nine but then he won rounds 10 and 11, I thought."

"Does Horn deserve it? Yes he does. He doesn't control the scoring, and he did what he had to do."

Chris van Heerden doesn't belong anywhere near the radar of Jeff Horn right now. Heerden should be challenging people like David Avanesyan and Miguel Vazquez.

I was looking for a "Draw" option since I consider this to be an Even Money fight. :OhYes:

He can pick him as a voluntary if he see's it as an even fight.. Don't know if he's ranked by the IBF..

Van Heerden could beat Horn.. Better jab... It would be close, which means in Aussie Horn probably wins.

"Does Horn deserve it? Yes he does. He doesn't control the scoring, and he did what he had to do."

The above sounds like somebody trying to curry favor... He knows that Horn isn't going to fight anybody good if he doesn't fight Pacman again.. He has as good a chance as anyone of getting the fight.. I don't think Horn is going to be fighting Paulie -- that's usually the option at this point.

If we're gonna make a thread for every fighter that's gonna challenge Jeff Horn in the next month or two we'll wind up needing a whole section for Jeff Horn call outs.
