Televising boxing...any chance

Post by amwsnw »

Guys, any chance fox can start telecasting more local bouts. Watching "The Fight Call Out" tonight, on fox, they listed a number of very good domestic fights coming up over the next month and my understanding is none will be televised. A few lads including Hooper and Toussaint had very good wins on the Horn card. IT would be good to see more of these guys. Has anyone heard anything re Fox getting back on board with domestic boxing?

I really hope this card is televised on Fox. They have helped promote the bout though The Fight Call Out by having Brubaker and George on so fingers crossed:

Duco's co-promoter Dean Lonergan is part owner/director of the company. He is also director/part owner of Sky Arena (NZ ppv)
I guess he is negotiating with Fox Sports to buy Duco's future NZ & Aust events. ATM, none are scheduled.
In recent times, Fox has been showing Boxing & UFC events that happened 2/3 weeks ago & probably only paid for it no more than 2-hour metropolitan bus/train fare ;-)
