I fail to see where being on "Dave" gets Haye the money he'd be looking for 1 more cash out fight ?
Schaefer is involved in the Super Series as well.

The WBSS draw kept being shown on SSN so i'd be surprised if it wasn't on Sky

Joyce must be a nut case signing with Haye rather then Warren or Hearn.
This promotional company will not last especially if there platform is going to be Dave ffs.

I see it more as he is signing with Schaefer (who also signed Tony Yoka)Manchester Hitman wrote:Joyce must be a nut case signing with Haye rather then Warren or Hearn.

Hearn said the issue was you have to buy the entire series - and it will take 9-10 nights which they might not have available.handsofstone wrote:The WBSS draw kept being shown on SSN so i'd be surprised if it wasn't on Sky
You don't get option to just buy your fighter.
So will be highest bidder in every country to put as much money in pot as possible.

I wonder if Hearn or Warren we're in for Joyce. If Schaefer with Haye at his side and Dave as a channel can launch a successful opening fight night, then I'm in.
Haye needs a named opponent to face, because we don't fancy another Mark De Mori situation. For me, Lucas Browne or Fred Oquendo would be acceptable. Oquendo would be more likely because of the WBA belt.

If it means more boxing on Television that everyone can see, I'm all for it.
Is it good business sense, depends on how the fights and the deal is structured but if Haye is headlining the fights, the man can seriously sell a fight so I don't think he'll ever lose money no matter what he does.

I reckon some of WBSS will be on ITV box office, hence why Hearn is supporting the Eubank vs Abraham bill with a lot of his fighters... rembering that Eubank vs Abraham is unofficially part of the WBSS.
My hunch is that Groves and Smith fights will be on Sky, rest will be on ITV box office.

Will Haye get straight into a world title fight though following a loss... I think Oquendo vs Haye will be easy to make as they are friends.TheGingerBomber wrote:I wonder if Hearn or Warren we're in for Joyce. They're all tied up anyway, the titles, apart from Oquendo. So if not a title fight he should be facing someone of decent quality!stujones wrote:Will Haye get straight into a world title fight though following a loss... Come on lads, it's Haye - his comeback fight will be the likes of Joey Abell, Derric Rossy...

Anyone still interested in haye as a fighter?

Maybe Stiverne indeed, easy win, and probably makes more money as Wilder for Stiverne. Then Wilder can finally lose Povetkin his belt automatically as well, for inactivity and smoking joints.
Re: Hayemaker Ringstar Promotions UK TV deal
They can't be split up - you have to buy the full 14 fights - SMW and Cruiser.stujones wrote:I reckon some of WBSS will be on ITV box office, hence why Hearn is supporting the Eubank vs Abraham bill with a lot of his fighters... rembering that Eubank vs Abraham is unofficially part of the WBSS.

That's what Hearn said - its tricky for Sky as that's another 9-10 shows but the investment - certainly didn't indicate they were bidding at that stage.
1 media partner per country and then all the monies in 1 pot.

Not really. I don't class Selby as a Hearn fighter anymore and Ward lost the purse bid for the Cacace mandatory.stujones wrote:I reckon some of WBSS will be on ITV box office, hence why Hearn is supporting the Eubank vs Abraham bill with a lot of his fighters... rembering that Eubank vs Abraham is unofficially part of the WBSS.

Re: Hayemaker Ringstar Promotions UK TV deal
Not too optimistic because I think they will find it hard to put on good fights.
I'm not interested in Haye fighting again and to be honest I think a lot of people in the country feel the same.
Though I wouldn't mind the Bellew rematch but if he fights on Dave then that won't happen.
Let's see what the first card is.

Hayes shows on Dave were woeful full of idiots and more of a circus than boxing.

Remember the Briggs fight ? F***ing awful up there with one of the worst mismatches I've seen.rm1 wrote:Hayes shows on Dave were woeful full of idiots and more of a circus than boxing.

Re: Hayemaker Ringstar Promotions UK TV deal
Good thing is at least Schaefer is pretty legit in some sense.
Sure people can say he is snidey etc but he has been involved in MASSIVE promotions.
