Just a couple of thoughts

Post by Jip »

With KOVALEV VS WARD 2, JOSHUA VS KLITSCHKO and GGG VS CANELO & other great match up the year is ending up to be THE BEST YEAR in boxing we had in arguably 15 years. Adding the wbss makes the year even better. Maybe at the end of the year we get one last big fight like kovalev vs bertebiev or crawford vs mikey!

The circus fight is also going to be funny. This fight will show how feather fisted floyd is. Even a 154 boxer outside the top 15 like hatley would tko conor inside 7. Floyd will tko conor, but the funny thing is it wont be bevause of floyds pumches but from conor gassing. Ufc fighters are bums with 0 condition, thats why they are laying on the ground so much safing energy hahaha.....

I wounder how the new talents like shakur, lundy or garbanov or however the usbek kid name is gonne evolve. I mean, i know already, since i am an experts who can judhe boxers quality asap..

I was looking at what is still to come this year and thinking the same.
Already we have had some great fights.
AJ Wlad has to be the best HW fight I have enjoyed for the last 5 or so years.
GGG Jacobs was a rollercoaster
Spence Brook had me on the edge of my seat
And those are just the big fights. So many non title fights this year have been riviting through good matchmaking and stand out performances.
And at least 3 big fights to come. Hope they live up to my anticipation

The combination of mega fights everybody wanted to see where the best fight the best finaly happening and the wbss which will bring one good cw and sm fight month after month is jus great. What a year. What maybe is close as important as this year being good for boxing is that i have positiv expectations for the future years.

The mayweather/haymon chicken ducking era is finaly over. There is a new vibe in boxing that again anything is possible and the big fights happen quick in not 7 years later. With boxings new superstars like canelo, joshua, ggg, spence, crawford & lomachenko etc. I have the feeling they want the big opponents, they want the challenge, give a show for fans and not like ward and floyd, get into the ring run and wrestle, fight only for money and shyt on fans satisfaction watching an action packed fight. Future looks good. I am happy.

The WBSS at least holds promise for next year.
Hopefully a few more stick in the mud boxers will retire as well.
Heavyweight division is a concern as quite a few top ten fighters are getting old with not a lot of talent rising.
Super middleweight next year is my pick to have some exciting fights as well as the WBSS cruiser

Usyk vs Huck is in 2 month. Wbss starts in september so 2017 we will have great fights from the tournament.

Hw is a strange division. It began to be goodbut now is fallen. Ortiz looked old latly. Povetkin on roids. Hayes career is over. And wilder i cant stand this moron. Wlad about to retire. O ly aj is truly shining.

My focus at 140-154. Does mikey fight crawford. Is crawford going up for thurman or spence. Will spence fight thurman or go up to 154. Is lundy becoming a atar at 154 and many other questions.

Ortiz will knock Wilder out if that fight is actually made...which I very much doubt Wilder's people will actually do the fight.

Haye's career is not over... His achilles' tendon is healing and he'll be back in the mix..

Povetkin was never accused of taking roids in his life... He was first accused of having an inappropriate amount of Medonium in his system, a product that has been legal for 35 years up through 2016.. Povetkin tested at less than 1/14th the allowable concentration... which VADA quietly admitted he passed every single test after months of "investigation" and smearing Povetkin with the "B Sample" BS which obviously was going to be exactly like the A Sample and also passed very easily. The fact that Povetkin was exonerated was not a story in the American media.

I knew they were going to do the same funny business with the Stiverne fight.. Stiverne DID test positive for PED's but VADA and the WBC let him slide with a "fine" and "donations." ... Then, 24 hours ahead of the fight VADA claimed Povetkin had 1/10th of a nanogram of Ostarine in one of his numerous samples. Funny, but the only positive tests for Ostarine in many years were 3 foreign white boxers in World Title Fights, and all fairly recently -- all 3 not even being aware of Ostarine or how it got into their bodies. So far Lucian Bute has spent considerable sums investigating how his positive test came about, and is suing a company in California for shipping him a product somehow contaminated with a trace of Ostarine.

Regardless. The hw division sucks. Only aj is keeping me interrested in the division.
