If Elmer "Violent" Ray beat the elite level of Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott before losing to both in their rematches, why not Jimmy Bivins? However, Bivins beat 8 out of 11 world champions in his time.

To be fair to Charles, he was just a light heavy when he fought Ray. But sure, Ray would have a chance. Guess I would lean towards Bivins. Too bad it never happened.
