Stadium is too big. They'll do very well to sell this one against a relatively unknown Eastern European who doesn't speak English.

It's a decent high ranked contender for Joshua to defend against. Hope the undercard is solid.

Hopefully fingers crossed the hughie fight gets panned and I get a refund which will buy me tickets to see a much better card.

Pulev speaks some English...he did an interview right after the Wlad fight w/o a translator.

Joe Calzaghe couldn't sell it out on his best night!! Hope it is a good crowd though ready for Bellew V Haye II in the same stadium in November..

This will do well at Cardiff, too many casual fans love AJ then add the hard core it will fill it. There will be a decent undercard too which will help it.

The fight is penciled in for the 28th October so is there any indication who else could be on the bill with just over 8 weeks to go?

I think it's a decent fight. Considering not many good heavies. I give Pulev a 10-15% chance.

He boxed terribly against Wlad and was too cocky. He's better than that, plus he also wobbled Wlad in that fight

Joshua will sell out the Millennium, absolutely no problem.

Does Hearn have any Welsh fighters other than Cleverly now? What's his arrangement like with Selby? I'm never quite sure.

Selby is out on his own - Poxon (ITV) tweets about him a fair bit.

He wouldn't be a fortune to add to undercard.

Kal Yafai v Undefeated fighter is one of chief supports.

One was for the announcement, and one is for "Who wins" with a poll so I can see there being 2 of them. No need for any more though.

The "Who wins" thread will shortly become the "Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev officially announced 28th October - Cardiff" thread.

Are you new here Gil?

Hard to hype a guy Wlad battered silly - who's just outpointed Kevin Johnson who's been done for 5 years.

It's the Magic of Matchroom. In fairness, he's the mandatory and a better one than either Stiverne or Hughie.

Decent enough fight, couple of half decent undercard scraps and it'll be a sell out PPV event. We all know it.

On the other hand, he was quite dominating against Chisora, while Whyte struggled.

Pulev will be Joshua's second best win by some distance.

Pulev would beat Whyte easily.
