What is your current HW ranking?
What is your current HW ranking?
1. Anthony Joshua (I would have say Tyson Fury because he made Klitschko look like a clown while Joshua has struggled and almost lost that fight , but since Fury is inactive i say AJ is number one right now.
2. Deontay Wilder - I believe he will prove himself against dangerous King Kong Ortiz if this fight gets made.
3. Luis Ortiz - Knocked out Jennings. Something Klitschko could not do. Ortiz had him hurt in early rounds which was very impressive. Has long reach which makes him the biggest threat for AJ and Deontay Wilder.
4. Alexander Povetkin - He fought very poor opposition after he blasted Mike Perez out. Wach , Rudenko and Dohoupas on one day notice is very very poor and he should fight someone like Amir Mansour atleast?
5. Joseph Parker - I believe that he could beat Povetkin on points. Seems like Povetkin goes after Parker
6. David Haye (not injured) - he still did not do anything special after his comeback. His stamina looked terrible due to his extra lbs
7. Kubrat Pulev
8. Andy Ruiz - I had his fight against Parker a DRAW.
9. Carlos Takam - Yeah he lost against Povetkin and Parker but gave them hard fight. He has solid chin and boxing skills. I believe he would beat guys like Whyte , Chisora and Miller with no problem
10. Dereck Chisora - He got robbed against Dilian Whyte , always gave a good fight against anyone and faced some real boxers . Even past his prime i think he deserves atleast rank number 10
2. Deontay Wilder - I believe he will prove himself against dangerous King Kong Ortiz if this fight gets made.

Re: What is your current HW ranking?
1.Anthony Joshua - it is no doubt that he is #1, a great war vs Klitschko proved it, no one is possible to win vs Klitschko right now (if he not retired) except Anthony Joshua
2.Alexander Povetkin - has a very good resume but in his last fight vs Rudenko he showed inferior skills than before, was less accurate and strong. Still, i believe he KO's Wilder because he's got a good chin and if Sasha caughts Wilder like he caught Duhaupas it is over. Deontay is not a master of defence.
3.Deontay Wilder - I'm not sure that he wins vs Pulev or Ortiz but his great power of punch makes his oppenents underdogs in this fights as it is very possible that he can even KO aging Ortiz or not very granite-chin Pulev.
4.Kubrat Pulev - nice technical boxer, has some experiences vs good fighters, neither Wilder or Ortiz impress me that much that i believe that Pulev has no chances. Ortiz is old now and wasn't impressive in his last fights.
5.Luiz Ortiz - a fighter of Cuban school of boxing, can outbox or KO everyone (that's what people say, I am not too impressed),there is still a question about his chin.
6.Joseph Parker - Young and Talented fighter but his last fight made me think that Wilder Pulev and Ortiz both have a good chances of winning against
him. both Takam and Ruiz Jr fights could go either way.
7.Carlos Takam - The best gatekeeper of the top fighters right there. Very even fight vs Parker, war vs Alexander Povetkin proved that he is no joke.
8.Dominic Breazeale - Very tall and strong fighter with good techniques. He's got a good win vs Ugonoh earlier this year.
9.Jarrell Miller - Big, strong guy with a decent punch, won with ease vs Washington that won every round vs Wilder until being KO'ed
10.Adam Kownacki - Good pressure fighter that throws a lot of punches, has got pretty good power of punch. KO'ed Szpilka being a huge underdog and he beat him roughly. Seems to have a decent chin.

Fair, though I couldn't care less about Povetkin or Ortiz. I haven't seen Povetkin box in ages. I'd guess it was when he got a gift versus Huck or when he stopped a crippled Rahman.tiny_acres wrote:JoshuaSaadOffTheDeck wrote:1. Joshua

If Dillian Whyte would've been fighting a more meaningful opponent than Malcolm Tann last Saturday he might've cracked the Top 10, but he didn't, and he didn't.

Re: What is your current HW ranking?
My current heavyweight ranking would be in the hundred thousands probably as I've only just moved up from cruiser.
Re: What is your current HW ranking?
Probably about the same, but drop Haye, drop Ortiz down 2 places, and add at 10 Christian Hammer or someone.

With rankings that odd you could get a job for a boxing org.

Yep, that's close enough. I'd like to see Miller Vs Kownacki or Takam to prove he belongs thereTony1244 wrote:1. Anthony Joshua

It descends into mediocrity after this, though one could watch Parker-Cojanu and say that it already started to. Trying to make the list reminds me of how little depth there is in the division..
