He'd complained about fighting at 118 well before that bout as well!

Great card, that. The Japanese put some quality shows on, often with more than one good bout.

Was disappointed Oguni lost after his superb showing versus Guzman. But, he clearly has problems with southpaws because he was also beaten down by another very good Japanese fighter, Shingo Wake, in another good battle.

Iwasa certainly achieved the potential demonstrated in that epic loss to Yamanaka, an overlooked domestic classic. Interestingly he does better when he faces someone who isn’t a southpaw (Yamanaka’s a lefty and Haskins switches...)

Also, Haskins’ brief reign with a bantam title doesn’t look quite so disappointing now.
