Nope. It was close. It was almost the corpse of GGG in there and Canelo still couldn't beat him.

Yes....a guy in the Brit forum who was vocal pre-fight about Canelo being on a totally different level. Not really surprised by his card...

GGG won clearly, canelo was largely nullified. Rematch, GGG kicks his arse.

Kicks it again, to what end? To see if maybe someone just goes ahead and scores it 12-0 Canelo that time?

Yep, think GGG is in a tough spot. I wouldnt bet on scores getting better for him if they did it again...

Another $10-20 million would not hurt though.

He did look drained but fcuk me can he take a shot. You could hit h with a sledgehammer and he'd keep stalking you. He's made of steel.

His best weapon is his hard accurate jab.
How much did he miss with it?
And Canelo is nothing special defensively.
Whenever Canelo was on the ropes he moves off to his left, each time GGG launches his right hand and misses evey time. A year ago that shot would have landed like a rocket each and every time.

Although Canelo did better than I expected and did land some clean shots; GGG clearly won by 4 (at very least 3) rounds.

Tommy from The Who could figure that out.

116-112.

If I was GGG, I'd have the fight elsewhere, but no Mexicans, no money.

GGG should fight Saunders and then retire. Fcuk Golden Boy.

I think you're underselling Canello and GGG is 36. It doesn't matter, GGG beat Alvarez.

I haven't watched the fight yet, but I will on HBO next weekend. If I think the scoring was as bad as Kovalev-Ward 1, then I am done with boxing! I'll still research the history of the sport, but until these piss-poor judges are held accountable and banned from judging what's the point!
