Two interesting fights, but why is #1 vs #2 so complicated?

Because then the winner of both fights. 1 will be world and the other will be Interim, then they get matched up. I don't think they're bad matchups.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Two interesting fights, but why is #1 vs #2 so complicated?
WBC get sanctionings fees x3
Imam's time to step up and take it now.

A couple of things...#1 how in the HELL is Imam ranked as #1? He gets KO'd by Granados and then fights a guy with a record of 16-19 two fights ago. His last fight was with Soto who sports a heck of a record 26-23. This what I despise about boxing. The undeserving fighters rising up the ranks for no apparent reason. Well, the 140lb division goes to crap after TC leaves anyway.
#2 Let me guess...Crawford is going to need 2 or 3 tuneups at 147 before taking on anything significant at Welterweight right? I love the guy but he's been fighting one soft boxer after another. His only tough fight in the last 3 years was "supposed" to be against Postol but the bright lights definitely got to Postol in that one. The Gamboa fight is the only one that i'll give TC credit for. Now he's going to fight more bums for another year and use the weight class jump as an excuse. I hope that the fans start letting him have it.
