Adam Smith, enough is enough
This guy ruins every boxing event on sky. Absolutely terrible tonight. Why do boxing fans have to put up with this absolute muppet every week. Listening to his commentary makes me want to jump in front of the nearest truck. He is nauseatingly bad. Is there anything at all that we can do to get this idiot off sky??

Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
He's always been a terrible commentator. There's no ringside now though so apart from being interviewed on sky sports news every now and again he really doesn't have much to do if he doesn't commentate. Head of boxing on sky sports is a part time job these days.
Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
Does ed Robinson do any work there now?

Don't buy it , if enough didn't they'd do something about it .TheLeprechaun wrote:This guy ruins every boxing event on sky. Absolutely terrible tonight. Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
I don't think they would unfortunately . They'd probably just drop all other boxing apart from ppv events. Sky really aren't interested in Boxing these days outside ppv.rd350lc wrote:Don't buy it , if enough didn't they'd do something about it .TheLeprechaun wrote:This guy ruins every boxing event on sky. With the event of the new channel structure it might be more obvious if people voted with their feet now .
Controversially I don't find him that bad but he ain't no Iain darke.

I thought everyone was overreacting about him being a wanker, but I understand now, he's 5 stone wet through and growls when he speaks, he talks about Barrera/Morales every week, and his cliches are constant. He has to compare someone to Froch, or Naz, or someone else from the last 20 years. I prefer McKintosh.

The whole sky commentary team is pretty gash, half the reason I got rid of it, Darke and Dempsey, that's what they need!
Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
Both working for bt sports now but no-one has had the idea to pair them up for the boxing yet.

Does adam smith come on here? He's an absuokte tool. He ruins a perfectly good show. If I was co-commentating I'd have to belt. He looks as though he's had a hot chipolata in his mouth every time he speaks.

I think a lot of the things he says he is told to say or repeat a bit like the radio when they repeat the time every 5 minutes
It does not help when a table lands on your head he has not been himself since then

Smith is brilliant. He makes Sky what it is - a platform for the best fights
Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
If every brit on here emailed sky about him something might get done or even sky boycottTheLeprechaun wrote:This guy ruins every boxing event on sky. Absolutely terrible tonight. Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
Smith's level has been the same since he started and he has been continually promoted, it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up with Rupert Murdochs job.

Smith is golden balls in sky now as boxing is flying but eddie hearn is the reason and doing all the hard work..
Seen Frank Smith on tv last night and it looks like he has been skipping cardio day in the gym.

They also zoomed in on Luke Campbell an awful lot and are lining up a bout on a stacked PPV show for him and Crolla. All of these shows have a motive. They've discovered a good kid in Ritson who'll sell well alongside Kelly in the north east.rd350lc wrote:Don't you think ? , They must have ploughed plenty into tonight's event .ewenhay wrote:I don't think they would unfortunately . Re: Adam Smith, enough is enough
Froch annoyed me more last night. He can't go through a competitive fight without scoring at least 1 10-10 round. And the pair of them pass of any potential bad scoring as "it's what you like", no it's fvcking not, it's one or the other. Just open your eyes, pay attention and you'll see who's winning.
