Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
I’d like to gauge not who you think will win, but who you want to win.

I have no preference

I think you guys know my policy
Re: Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
aj
aj is good for boxing in pretty much every way. ko power, aggressive, in shape, not disrespectful and biggoted. huge crowds with great atmospheres, and his star is shining on other boxers and helping build them. i think the biggest knock ppl have on him is simply the massive hype, but i think whike that can annoy hardcore fans its actually a sign that hes really getting through to broader audiences and thats good for boxing as a whole
fury can be a really funny guy in spots but hes dreadful to watch and for me its really turned me off him. also embarrases the sport a little when the top hw turns into a blob and goes around shaking his belly and stuff like that
i will say that fury would be good to have around and fighting as a foil, but ultimately aj winning is better for the sport and aj is much more entertaining

It would be much much better for boxing if Joshua won.

I'd prefer AJ to win as i've had enough of Tyson's on/off comebacks and i certainly don't want to see his dad demanding we show respect to someone who has very little respect for anyone.

Joshua. Just so much better for the sport.

I don’t mind as long as it’s a good fight. I have a concern that Fury will get a shot at AJ without having to face any other opponents first. Then turns up in terrible shape for the pay day fleecing all the ppv buyers in the process

I want Anthony Joshua to win because hes a great guy and great for the UK. He;s only had 1 brush with the law which in my book is quite fashionable.

Tyson, nothing against AJ. I‘ve just always been a Fury fan.

I agree with those who say that an AJ win would be better for boxing and would help to broaden the sport’s appeal, attract new fans and funds to the sport and thereby secure a healthy future for boxing and the fighters of tomorrow.
But fvck all that sanctimonious sh1te. For sheer enjoyment I wanna see Fury dance around him, expose him as a big stiff idiot, toy with him and tko the exhausted muscle bound humble giant late on then watch endless slow motion replays of the stunned reaction of Hearn and Smith and all the sky cheerleaders as their gravy train gets derailed.

If I have to pick one it would be Fury.
The heavy-weight scene at the moment is terrible it has to be the worst it has ever been.
People go on about the 80’s being bad but I don’t think either AJ or Fury would have been champ then and no way would they have been in the 90’s the likes of Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Moorer, Ibeabuchi, Rudduck, Morrison, Tua, Golota. Would all beat AJ or Fury

Re: Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
I said this with a bit of sarcasm if you like.
I would really like to see AJ win but if Tyson Fury wins I won't lose any sleep. Bloody hell weve seen many things happen in boxing over the years. If Tyson Fury can get back to where he was and beats AJ so be it, at least he has done it on merit, but he wont beat AJ in similar fashion that he beat klit with. To beat AJ I think Fury will have to fight him, out box him and knock him out. If those 3 things happen it will be a great accomplishment by the former world champion.
If Fury beats AJ in his first outing it will be somewhat of a incredible return to boxing and I for 1 will put my hands up and say I misjudged the boxing skill of Fury.
Either way for the boxing fans both sides it will put to bed all the squabbles who was better, yes I hope AJ beats Fury but I wont be left broken hearted if Fury wins. This is boxing and im a fan of the sport. If Fury wins he has done it on his own dedication and will to win. I hope the fight comes off and for 1 I certainly want to be there if I can get a ticket, I might be an AJ fan beforehand and leave a Fury fan. Hopefully at the end of the day boxing is the winner and we are all happy with the outcome.
Re: Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
I think it would be better for boxing if Fury won a competitive fight, then we get a rematch, potentially a series of fights. AJ has more scope to improve than Fury (unless Tyson fights AJ out of shape). If AJ cleans him that's probably the end of Fury and AJ runs out of opponents before long.
Re: Who DO YOU WANT to win? AJ vs Fury
As previously stated, an AJ win is much better for boxing, but a close fight that will warrant a rematch or even trilogy somewhere down the line would be the ideal situation. I've no love for the Fury's but I have no desire to see Tyson humiliated.
Anyway, win or lose Tyson fucks off and retires again and wastes everybody's time. AJ needs to win otherwise heavyweight boxing in britain just grinds to a halt. The Fury's are dodgy as fornicate and pull out more than David Haye. They're fighting style is like watching paint dry and they'll kill boxing stone dead in the UK.

Looks like Mickey and his mates are right. Fury leading the poll so far.
I’d expect a poll outside the boxing fraternity/hardcore to be different.
Hope the big man gets in shape.
His comeback could be a George Foreman fairytale.
Ten years time we could have The Tyson Toaster.

Just remembered Big Tyson wouldn’t put his name to a kitchen appliance.
He don’t spend much time there: not his job.
