Isnt it the idea to go forward not backwards

Post by REAL_DEAL »

This thread is about gavin rees

This guy seems to be going no where. rees has one of the most padded recorders in british boxing. After his stoppage of muya the idea should of been a fight for a title. a few months ago he had a WBO title shot but somehow came overweight. on purpose, maybe

Kevin Benett beat Muya and then had a fight with cook
Lee Meager beat muya and now is fighting danny hunt
Dean Phillips beat muya and now is fighitng bennett
Rees stopped muya and beat carl allen after

its about time his manager, trainer demeanded a title shot. there are some decent fights out there for him.

I just don't think Rees has got the mental attitude for the game, he claims that he cannot make Super Feather - yet he looks "conditioned" at Lightweight. He's too small for Lightweight and I think all I rank above him should beat him (comfortably).

I actually think he was hurt when Allen floored him, Allen didn't have the ambition to do much about it - but I think Allen should have gone for it.
