No dea but I’ve wondered this as well. It’s been husky as hell for ages it seems.

Think he has mentioned he was punched in the throat in sparring and has a small blood clot that needs removing but is not threatening.

I’ve not listened yet but I saw Gareth A Davies post on Twitter that Fury was on the talksport podcast the other day and his voice was apparently discussed. The punch to the throat sounds familiar though, and in all honesty makes more sense than coke use

Heard or read recently that he's about to have an operation on it.

he has a node on his vocal cord, this will need surgical removal. hopefully the node is nothing to worry about but it will be sent for testing just in case. not a big op but the voice will have to be relaxed for a month post op.

Thanks for the info. Has that come from the podcast or elsewhere?

Had what they said was a pre cancerous groth , took me in and scraped the vocal cords , , few years later had that punchbag thing in the throat removed , they said if it was'nt removed it would turn into a nasty ,, Both times what sent me to the doc , who then sent me to a specialist ,, Husky voice just like Tyson . I would be getting it well checked if i were him

Cheers lads for all the info was genuinely concerned, didn’t think it was due to substances only found out it was because of sparring

I'd been wondering the same myself, I noticed he was husky, didn't Helenius have a similar problem?
