Hughie has the UKAD hearing to get through first so absolutely 0% chance of Whyte v Fury on that date.

If Whyte couldn't successfully pin down and deal to the Viking, what chance does he have against Hughie?
I think it is good Hughie gets out there and fight again as soon as possible (assuming he legally can) but stylistically I don't think Whyte is the guy for him.

If I was Whyte I would avoid Hughie. not because hes good but because he makes fighters look shit with his negative style.
Plus he has low punch power. Tap Tap run is a yawn fest

Nobody will want to fight Hughie. He’s so negative it’s nigh on impossible to look good against him and you stand a good chance of being handed a loss in the process too, especially Whyte.

Hughie is a nightmare for whyte, I would heavily favour Hughie to win a boring decision if they were to fight.

As mentioned though, Hughie has other things going on and probably won't fight for a little while.

agree. simply awful guy to fght. horrible boring style and what credit do u get now even if you beat him up? not many really rate him as all that do they? and he doesnt have a belt or an unbeaten record to flatter a win column.

Hughie wins clearly but I can't see any promoter giving him a shot.

He doesn't put bums on seats and he is too difficult to beat.

Good fight if it actually happens. If Whyte can cut off the ring he wins by late stoppage. If not, could see Hughie win on points. However I'm not sure it happens. May be difficult to sell tickets especially after the YouTube shambles and I doubt the money is there. Whyte will be looking for decent money and Hughie will be looking to make up for the money he didn't make vs Parker. Hope they agree for Feb 3rd.

Hughie outboxes him but, Whyte gets the decision.

I just sense a huge robbery in this one. I also sense a robbery if Tyson faces AJ.

Hearn spoke to Peter lastnight and they don't want it till April, so its in play for a later date.
Stick a poll on this, I'm interested in seeing how the board thinks it will play out...

If that is the case then I can't see it happening. I would imagine that February would be attractive for Whyte but not after that. Why fight in February and then agree to fight Hughie afterwards when you're chasing a title? Doesn't make much sense as Whyte is higher ranked than Hughie across the board. Hughie should just take the fight in February assuming everything is OK with UKAD this week. Headlining at the O2 on Sky is a huge step up for him and would build his profile massively.

Hughie should jump at this, puts him in line for a title shot and will give him a lot of exposure?

Who are they waiting for? A rematch with Parker in a leisure centre?

Hasn't Hughie had about three fights since waiting for this hearing was meant to happen though?

Hughie could do with a new trainer and set up perhaps?

I think his career has been mismanaged, especially when you consider as an am he was every bit as good as Tyson, maybe a little better?

Peter might be stuck on way to get results. What works for Tyson in his most recent fights won’t necessarily work for Hughie. There’s plenty there in Hughie to work with, I’d imagine most top trainers would welcome the chance to work with him

Does being Tyson Fury's cousin really mean you should get a bunch of opportunities in fights that nobody wants to see?
