Do you think that it annoys Boxers when they are in the ring and the MC gets their record, weight or titles etc wrong? Or do you think they are that focused they usually don't notice?

To be honest it bugs me.

Talking on the same lines, how inept is the BBC ring announcer? I think his name is Mike Goodall but i'm willing to be wrong about that...he is all...and in the red corner....err....fighting at....err....14 stone 10 pounds...it's the...IBO...erm...IBC...err

She was the one who came in with David Haye holding the Union Jack flag. You could almost have mistaken her for royalty.

So why don't they go for John Mcdonald or Michael Pass? I've never heard them make a mistake, and they sound better!!

Maybe they are contracted to Sky but McDonald did the last Craig Docherty fight from Glasgow and I'm sure it was on the BBC

I've always thought that Jimmy Lennon Jr was the best MC around.

Do you thin MC's make mistakes becuase of nerves? or are they often fed bad information about the fighters?

Let's face it with all the belts around it can be confusing. Half the time the announcers probably have to check the belt title is not a part of the boxer's name.

Waynes nickname is "the great".....

But he kept saying Wayne "the great" alexander..... oblivious to the fact that for the nickname to work it has to be Wayne Alexander "the Great"

As an occasional MC (although not for a couple of years) I can tell you now that it's a piss easy job. The guy for the Haye - Thompson fight was abysmal. It was like it was the first time he was reading the cards. I think he'd been on the sherries beforehand.

To be fair to Jodie Marsh, she does have a nice bum.

I spoke with John McDonald on Friday, and those who have met him will testify, he's one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, anyway I know he's contracted to SKY so couldn't do the Haye card so was there in his IBO capacity.

Mike Goodall is usually OK but did fumble through one or two of the details last Friday.

John Mc takes some beating - he gives it some welly!
