With Horn being with Top Rank, and Thurman with PBC. I don't see it happening.

Look for Crawford vs Horn

And Thurman vs Devon Alexander or something like that.

If the match materializes, Crawford is going to beat up Horn in the spring so it's hard to imagine Thurman opposing the Aussie.

And unless he's forced into a mandatory as he is with Crawford, I suspect Horn would prefer to fight routine, beatable challengers like Corcoron.

After that fight, Horn didn't sound too enthusiastic about a Crawford bout, only saying "It's a big possibility."

Don't be surprised if Horn pulls a Stevenson and tries to avoid the #1 contender for as long as possible.

Since Arum has Horn for promoting one more fight, he will make as much $ as possible. That means an in-house fight.

If Thurman did fight Horn, he would KO him within 6 or 7 rounds I'm guessing. Like the saying goes, there are levels, and Horn is a level below the elite welterweights.

Top Rank will cash Horn out soon, as he's gained some fame with the "win" over Pacquiao but is a very ordinary fighter with little upside.

Either they make Horn/Pac II happen, or Manny retires (or takes a fight against a no-hoper) and they make Horn/Crawford instead.

Horn would be considered a cherry pick for Thurman.

But after Crawford beats him, ESPN, a “news network” who has a financial stake in Crawford,
will push him as number 1 P4P.

Ha! Biased media.

ESPN would probably prefer to rank Crawford and Lomachenko as co-#1's on its P4P list.

No, you have to do a back and forward after every fight to make it look like a legit debate.

Jeff Horn may choose to vacate his WBO world title to face Anthony Mundine for $2m instead of his mandatory challenger, Terence Crawford, for only $1m.

Bob Arum isn’t going to pay Keith Thurman at least $2m to face Jeff Horn.

We will never see a fight between Keith Thurman and Jeff Horn.

Keith Thurman is also currently injured.

Won't happen any time soon.
Clashing promoters, a new champion who's just defended his belt for the first time, the amount of backlash the decision got when he won the belt.

He's going to be protected for a while. Challenged but protected, at least while his team can establish him on the world stage properly.

I doubt. He would make Horn look silly, but he wouldn't stop him.

Horn's promoter, Dean Lonergan, now insists that Horn will not fight Crawford unless he's paid $4 million, insisting that "this will be one of the biggest fights in the world."

However it's true that Horn would move up to fight Mundine for half that money, even if it costs him his WBO title.

So it looks like the Horn camp may very well sidestep Crawford.

Unlikely he'll be paid anywhere near that bloated $4 million.

He reportedly earned $750,000 for beating non-entity Corcoran last week.

Arum will soon remind Horn he will fight who he says, and get paid what Arum decides he will get paid. He will tell Horn he can make his huge demands after he "beats" Crawford, and is out of his contract with Top Rank.

Talk of Horn vs Thurman is stupid right now.

But now that Horn has a smattering of name recognition, he may very well toss his WBO belt in the garbage can and fight opponents he deems less risky.

Mundine is a winnable match. Crawford is suicide encounter.

For $2 million, Horn picks Mundine.

And as for Arum, Horn will simply tell him "See me in court."
