Artur Beterbiev VS Marcus Browne

Post by BAD INTENTIONS »

All the top guys at 175 seem to be paired up right.
These are the only two guys left standing.

Mikhalkin just jumped the eliminator to a title shot (Kovalev),
hopefully Browne can do the same and finally give Beterbiev a marquee fight.

Ha-ha-ha. Browne is another owner of a blown 20+ undefeated record who would be smashed.

It would likely look like Gassiev vs Isiah Thomas.

I like Browne, want him to do well. I know there's a lot of talk of Kalad beating him. But I don't care. He slaughtered Monaghan. A guy a lot of fans bere bigged.

Browne would be gone in a round.... I guarantee that fight is NOT happening because it would be suicide for Brownie.

Browne would get killed. I'd like to see it, but Browne needs to rematch Hot Rod. He did not win that fight.

Browne would be Beterbiev's best professional opponent so far by far, and the best puncher he's faced too by far (I'm aware of Cloud). So whatever my views on the likely outcome of the fight (AB doesn't have it all his own way by eventually find the punches to end up on top FWIW) I'd be pretty jazzed to see it happen soon.

Browne is scheduled to make an appearance on the Spence-Peterson card in January though, and with Easter-Fortuna on the bill too there's no way there's money for Beterbiev this time.

The difference is Browne has power. Thomas doesnt.

Koelling got stopped. Artur just took his time to brush off the ring rust.

Power isn't the key to beating Artur. You need to be a very good mover/runner to create problems for him.

He not as inept and hittable as Browne... Any real good 175-pounder is going to smash Browne flat...

Runners play right into Beterbiev's game... He cuts off the ring on them and blasts them to Timbuctoo.

The Beterbiev who looked so ordinary against the inept, undeserving Koelling, would have his hands full with Marcus Browne.

The problem in boxing today is that guys get title fights when they're still profesional neophytes.

Beterbiev has a grand total of 12 fights. A limited number of rounds. He's a work in progress.

Win or lose, Browne would demonstrate just how much work Beterbiev needs.
