Berchelt vs Mijares
Berchelt vs Mijares
Miguel Berchelt is probably fighting Christian Mijares in Mexico - february. I am very disapointed with that, hoping for Lomachenko match :( Is there chance Lomachenko get some serious oponent in first half of 2018 without moving up in weight ? I like Berchelt a lot, but fight like this is not good at all.
Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
It's not a bad fight. FFS, this forum only knows a handful of fighters and thinks everyone outside of that handful are bums. Solid fight. Mijares is on a solid win streak, and his only loss has been to, no shame, LSC around 2014.
Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
Im definitely not saying Mijares is bum. But still disapointing world title fight
Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
its not really solid fight imo when the one guy is going to lose every round, there are lots better opponents, and there is no added significance like a unification. last time mijares was in a world title fight he lost every round. hes beaten no one serious at 130 and is no more than a gatekeeper.he will not be remotely competetive and he will be undersized.
i mean berchelt just fought 2 tough opponents so this is okay, but lol getting panties in a bunch because someome doesnt like this fight. does it make you feel cool?like a boxing hipster maybe? theres good reason pretty much no one considers mijares a serious player at 130.

Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
He lost every round to a future FW king, LSC. Mijares has a good resume, and I he'd be easily in Berchelt's top 5 wins. I actually think Mijares will be a lot more competitive than Miura was. Also, who the hell isn't undersized at 130 lbs. considering Berchelt is massive for the division? Do you think Lomachenko is the same size as Berchelt?jamamb wrote: ↑31 Dec 2017, 21:10 its not really solid fight imo when the one guy is going to lose every round, there are lots better opponents, and there is no added significance like a unification. last time mijares was in a world title fight he lost every round. hes beaten no one serious at 130 and is no more than a gatekeeper.he will not be remotely competetive and he will be undersized.

No, I just follow a lot of fighters. I also don't form an uneducated opinion and just go off BoxRec like the majority of clowns here, especially you, do.
Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
as if mijares is some obscure fghter only super fans would of heard of
hes a lttle old gatekeeper at best. he runs up his record vs no one who matters and loses these days whenever he faces someone who does. hell be fortunate to win a round. acceptable as an easy fght after 2 tough opponents for berchelt but certainly not good or even soild. merely passable for the circumstances imo and certanly not beyond criticism or 'meh'.

Re: Berchelt vs Mijares
You seem a little angry what Mijares was he a good fighter in his prime yes, but at 126 or 130 no matter how many wins during that period what was the best win. No matter what Mijares did years ago his win streak hasn't been in anyone who has been relevant at 130 so people should be disapointed.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑31 Dec 2017, 22:10He lost every round to a future FW king, LSC.
