How do you see this going. Figueroa going from strength to strength while Broner seems to be cashing out although he's still reasonably young. But Antonio DeMarco still remains his best win, in my humble opinion. And that was over FIVE years ago.

Re: Adrien Broner v Omar Figueroa
funnily enough that same demarco put fig through hell just two fights ago. that was in 2015 and fig fought once since then, vs a corpse. is that really going from strength to strength
Re: Adrien Broner v Omar Figueroa
Broner should win comfortably but he's that much of an enigma that you just can't make a confident prediction on him unless he's in with pure fodder.
Re: Adrien Broner v Omar Figueroa
based on what? guerrero was finished (see that argie beating him and yet then losing to a nobody) and had been recycled endlessly and before that figueroa had a hell of a time in winning a close decision over demarco. he was really busted up.
since 2015 fig has done 2 full rounds. though broners a guy who doesnt always work hard enough so maybe it wont matter.

Re: Adrien Broner v Omar Figueroa
I was never big on Figueroa but Broner has proper natural ability. He doesn't harness that ability or work on it the way he should but fukk knows! If Broner worked at what he already has then he'd be a force but he doesn't and nothing would surprise me with him!

Not really sold on either fighter tbh. Will be rooting against Broner as usual tho.
Re: Adrien Broner v Omar Figueroa
They're both good, but not great fighters. Figueroa's style is bad news for Broner. He's busy and aggressive, which means in all likelihood Broner's gonna spend a lot of this fight covering up on the ropes and shaking his head letting us know he's not hurt during all those exchanges he's losing.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑26 Jan 2018, 15:13 Not really sold on either fighter tbh.
