How did Sugar Ray jump Archie Moore on All-Time Pd for Pd rankings?
Been following baseball analytics since 1982. Over the past 5 or so years, I've been investigating basketball analytics. Am too old & tired to dive deep into your Pd for Pd All Time rankings. But I did find it strange that Robinson had jumped the Mongoose since the last time I checked. Sam Langford seems to have risen precipitously as well. Don't be afraid to tweak your metrics but don't do it too often. Or you'll wind up like Bill James, who stopped studying baseball objectively about 1987, and whose work isn't taken seriously by serious baseball analysts anymore. I hope your system doesn't add points for more modern boxers, a serious fallacy. Poor Stanley Ketchel. Sincere thanks for all your hard work.

Don't worry. Our historians sometimes find a bout or two that were still missing in our database. Of course, a database like this is and will never be complete. Although we do what we can... As for Sugar Ray, I'm not sure, but I think there was a bout or two that were only recently added, so, that might be the cause. We don't give more points to boxers from this century than to ones from before, BTW.
