On 16Th June 1983 at Las Vegas Billy Collins a young hungry unbeaten fighter took on journeyman Luis Resto. the fight caused so much controversy after the fight as Restos golves had been tampered with and padding removed. I have watched numerous documentaries on this subject. Resto himself has admitted he did know who tampered with the gloves although his trainer Panama Lewis still denies any wrong doing. Both were jailed,Resto banned from fighting and Lewis banned from being a cornerman. Thought please on this fascinating subject.
