What if "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler vs James Shuler

Had Shuler never got killed in a motorcycle accident after losing his only fight with Thomas Hearns, how would he fare against "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler in 1986? In my opinion, the Marvelous One would wear Shuler down and stop him in the tenth round. If Shuler fought the prime Hagler, then Hagler would stop him in the late round as well. What is your opinion?

Shuler wad good. Hagler was an ATG.

Rather predictable.

And Shuler may never have recovered from being put to sleep muy rapido on the Big Stage by Hearns.

Marvin by stoppage in the twelth round. James would have his moments, but Marvin would wear him down. Shame, because if James hadn't been destroyed by Hearns, may have been the one to dethrone Hagler down the line. Him, Ramos, and Davidson had the strongest shots of doing it if they had been kayoed, and self destructed.

On a slightly different tack, I did think it a pity Hagler did not carry on for a while longer after the Leonard fight. Even if Ray wanted nothing to do with a second fight, a Hagler-Hearns rematch probably would have happened and would have been massive. Also, how entertaining would it have been for us fans to see Marvellous Marv mix it up with the 160 pound version of Mike McCallum.

I strongly agree that The Marvelous One would stop Shuler and it would have been interesting if The Marvelous One fought The Body Snatcher in their prime, but that is another subject to make our opinion.
