Who remembers Hall of Famer Ismael Laguna???
Was a two-time World Lightweight Champion. This Panamanian was very quick and fought top opposition throughout his career. One of the best 20 lightweights of all time. Who got fights of this champion??? I would buy it from who ever has fights of this guy. This guya was very good and never was KO'd in his career.

Ismal was a great boxer, very fast and skilled, never stopped throwing punches. He was considered the fastest fighter ever to come out of Panama. I have the rematch between Laguna and Buchanan and could probably get other fights of him too... where are you based? as I am in UK so my vidoes are pal and won't run on American NSTC.... 8)
..i recall the laguna/buchanan fights as belonging among the most skillfull boxing matches i'd ever seen. each making superb moves and countermoves...each adapting his style almost round by round to solve problems presented by the other. two excellent clever fast lightweights. although I had realized that howard cosell knew very little about boxing from the very start of his announcing career (he could memorize stats and quickly sight read info fed to him)....but in the first fight he really unmasked himself. he kept referring to it as a slow, non-action affair between two boxers who stayed strictly on the defense. his words were so dumb i actually wrote them down verbatim just for the record. that writing is long vanished, but my paraphrasing as given here is close enough i think.

Hello folks!!!
Boxing Knowledge here is TERRIFIC!!! I saw that fight Buchanan-Laguna II on tape but the tape was not in live recording. It was a terrific fight between 2 guys that understood boxing very well. Two guys that understood defense. This is one of the greatest tactical figts that I ever seen on tape. Other fights were Leonard-Benitez, Toney-McCallum, Duran-Leonard I (although this fight was a brawl, their techincal skills were unmatched) and Leonard-Hearns I was also a technical and excellent fight in my point of view.
I want Buchanan-Laguna I and II and Laguna-Mando Ramos and al the fights with Carlos Ortiz on DVD since I am in the NTSC system, it would cost me a lot of $$$$$ to duplicate or transfom system PAL to NTSC.
