In Bill Lang's record he is incorrectly credited as having had his debut fight against Young Starlight on 9-1-1905.
I have read from different sources, (most notably Grantlee Kieza's Australian Boxing - Illustrated History book) that Lang's debut fight actually was against the veteran Edward (Starlight) Rollins.
It makes a lot more sense that the Heavyweight Bill Lang fought Edward Rollins, as he was a Middleweight/Heavyweight, while Young Starlight was a Lightweight.
