2:35 The blood seeping into the right eye of Fitzsimmons is coming from a cut right on the eyebrow of the fighter. his corner had better do some quick work on tit, or it's going to have a negative impact on their fighter. 7:5

0:44 Even a small cut this early in the fight can become a problem in later rounds. 3:4
0:44 * Blood is trickling from the cut over Fitzsimmons's eye; it has to be impairing his vision somewhat and it's definitely bothering him if the amount of blinking he's doing is any indication. 0:44 * Well, after talking a long look at Fitzsimmons's face, the ringside physician has indicated to the referee that the bout can continue. The third man in the ring is going to position both fighters where he wants them and get the action started again here in Round 2. 3:4

1:37 * The doctor is peering at the wound and he's shrugged his shoulders and he's shaking his head - is that a good thing or bad? Well, it's good from Fitzsimmons's perspective and the cheer that arises from the crowd tells us all we need to know: there's going to be more fisticuffs in just a moment. Obviously, the damage isn't that bad and Fitzsimmons and Tommy Ryan await the signal from the referee to commence firing. The fight resumes here in Round 2. 6:8

1:55 * Fitzsimmons's pawing at his eye and there may be some blood trickling into that eye from the cut above it. The referee must have noticed because we have a stop in the action as Wright motions toward the ringside physician. They're going to take a close look at the cut. 6:10
2:00 * The Referee has stopped this fight. * That's it folks. The gash over Bob Fitzsimmons's eye is too bad for him to continue. This fight is over. Ryan is the winner via TKO! 6:10

Well...Tommy's hand a pretty abysmal run through the Silver Six, but at least he got an IBO title win out of the whole deal so it's not a total loss.

Steele gave it a go, but Hagler was too much as I figured.

Now I'm 100% sure Robinson is trolling me and just looking to make exciting comebacks.

Ryan got on board with his first tourney win, congrats. Ketchel still looking for his first W, which is surprising.

Greb is now a 3x World Champion this season. Aside from also being the Million Dollar Champion, and the longest reign MGM Grand Cup holder of the season.

He's practically slopping over with achievement, but he still wants that Super 6 trophy. It might be a problem of math even if he gets the win in the last week of the Super 6, but he's going for it anyway, and hoping that the others near him in the scores come up short in their bout.
