Boxing Cards With The Most Fights?
http://boxrec.com/en/event/763582
Came across this card from today. Bloody ell.. soo many fights. 25 in total!
Have there been cases where we've seen this in the UK or USA?
I know Wárren usually puts on big cards.

Spotted this Korean the other day. 24 Rookie bouts and another outing for Lee, who's story is WELL worth reading about!
Can't imagine many cards are longer, Georgian cards used to be really long, and some Panama ones seemed to go on for days

Is it not a Korean version of white collar boxing, since nearly all of the bouts are four rounders partcipated between novices that have only previously competed in a few fights?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑25 Feb 2018, 17:26 http://boxrec.com/en/event/763582

Re: Boxing Cards With The Most Fights?
In terms of QUALITY boxing cards WITHOUT SCRUBS Don King in the 1990s (while Tyson was in prison) used to LOAD his shows with top-notch bouts, often including world championship matchups:
9/17/1994 > 6 World Title Bouts (Mexican Independence Day weekend)
Chavez-Taylor II
Trinidad-Campas (both undefeated)
Finito Lopez-Saengmorokot (both undefeated)
Randall-Coggi
Rosi-Pettway
G Ruelas-Leija
5/7/1994 > 5 World Title Bouts (Cinco de Mayo weekend)
Chavez-Randall II
McClellan-Jackson II
Norris-Brown II
Nelson-Leija II
Finito Lopez-Guardia (both undefeated)'
Those 2 shows actually helped to start the trend of major fight cards on Cinco de Mayo weekend & Mexican Independence Day weekend, which 24 years later, have grown into the well-established tradition of the biggest weekends in boxing.

It's a novice Rookie of the Year competition card I believe, like the ones that have been held in Korea and Japan for yearsEnlightened-One wrote: ↑25 Feb 2018, 22:24Is it not a Korean version of white collar boxing, since nearly all of the bouts are four rounders partcipated between novices that have only previously competed in a few fights?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑25 Feb 2018, 17:26 http://boxrec.com/en/event/763582

I fought on this show. It says 26 fights, but my fight was the 68th I believe (meaning tons weren't recorded on boxrec)

Re: Boxing Cards With The Most Fights?
I may be wrong but during the reign of Joe Louis there was a Great White Hope tournament staged in Detroit Michigan. I think in the end Lee Savold won the tournament. Frank Barbaro was the promoter of the event. 19 matches with 38 fighters on the card.
Re: Boxing Cards With The Most Fights?
A lot of the cards I go to in New Zealand have anywhere from 12-17 fights, maybe 10 of those are 3 rounders.
It's a long night of boxing, beers are cheep, and excellent value for money night out.
But geese you can get horribly pissed.
