Hard luck mate, it was a very entertaining fight. I nearly dropped off at around 4am but stood up for a while and kept the fluids going, and I lasted all the way to the end!!

As for the fight, it was fairly even when Oscar was KO'd in my opinion, but Hopkins just about shaded it. One thing that surprised me was how much Oscar stayed in Hopkins' face, he really didn't run as much as I expected him to.

Are you quite mad!! Fairly even!! Oscar lost almost every round on my card, he was outlanded in pretty much every single round, and didn't land much of significance either. Hopkins was in cruise mode totally fighting within himself until he opened up in the 7-9th rounds and decided to get Oscar out of there.

Ah but James, boxing is all about opinion ;) That's the beauty of the sport! One of the judges had Oscar 2 points up when he was stopped! I was rooting for De La Hoya and maybe a little bias came in for a round or 2, but I felt that Oscar handled himself pretty well and as I said, Hopkins only shaded it in my opinion by one or maybe two rounds.

Nae luck mate, i nearly done the same. I crashed out, beer in hand at about midnight but luckily woke at about 4ish in time for it.

It was an excellent match just for the fact you have 2 of the best p4p against each other and there was some excellent skills shown by both fighters in there and you could sense the mutual respect they had for each other.

At the time of the KO I had it 78-76 in Hopkins favour but Delahoya fought gamely and his fans should be proud of his performance.
