Tells the harrowing true story of Graeme Porky Brooke, an indigenous boxer and Australian sporting star of the 1980's.
Graeme was the first cousin of Australian sporting icon Lionel Rose. At the tender age of 16, Graeme left school to train with legendary boxing coach and mentor Jack Rennie.
After a hugely successful amateur career training with the likes of Barry Michael and future five time world champion Lester Ellis, Graeme was ready for the professional ranks.
Graeme went undefeated for 20 straight fights, culminating in an unprecedented Commonwealth Title win over Claude Noel, however, Graeme would never reach world title glory.
This is the first time Graeme has spoken about the details of the final stages of his career, which was tragically and controversially cut short.
We are honoured to have the opportunity to tell Graeme's story. We have been able to unearth stunning archival footage displaying Graemes tremendous talent. We have interviewed numerous world champion boxers such as Lester Ellis and Barry Michael. We have also interviewed prominent boxing figures and historians to fully illustrate the magnitude of this forgotten Australian boxing legend.
Stolen Glory will not be broadcast on T.V. and will not be streamable on any platform for quite some time.
