Puritty vs Klitschko?
I know it was a young Wlad, but Puritty was 24-13-1 and lost 3 of his previous 4...
I'm thinking that still might not be enough though.
Rene Jacquot decision over Don Curry!!

No it's not,Tyson was undisputed champ at the time,Povetkin is now an old,and slightly faded ex paper title holder,Tyson was 42-1 on to beat Douglas.Deleted_Scenes wrote: ↑15 Mar 2018, 12:17Buster was ranked 7th by Ring mag when he fought Tyson. Price beating Povetkin is a way bigger upset than that.

Re: If Price beats Povetkin...
Povetkin is definitely not Tyson, but Price isn't even remotedly close to Douglas' level. Aside of Tyson win Douglas beat 3 world heavyweight champions - Berbick, Page, McCall. Price's biggest win is Sam Sexton, who was never top-50 fighter.bigjack wrote: ↑15 Mar 2018, 12:30No it's not,Tyson was undisputed champ at the time,Povetkin is now an old,and slightly faded ex paper title holder,Tyson was 42-1 on to beat Douglas.Deleted_Scenes wrote: ↑15 Mar 2018, 12:17Buster was ranked 7th by Ring mag when he fought Tyson. Re: If Price beats Povetkin...
Exactly this. As dominant as Tyson was, Douglas was still a legit contender. Him beating Tyson then would be akin to someone like Miller beating Joshua now - however unlikely, it's not out of the realms of possibility.Boxing Writer wrote: ↑15 Mar 2018, 12:48Povetkin is definitely not Tyson, but Price isn't even remotedly close to Douglas' level. In Price, you have a shellshocked fighter who may not even be top 50 anymore. There are probably 10 UK heavyweights alone who beat him... Povetkin, whether faded or not, is still consensus number 3 heavyweight in the world (ahead of Parker and Ortiz).
Tyson's loss was much higher profile. That doesn't mean it was more of a surprise - especially to anyone familiar with the camp he had, leading up to that fight...

Probably the biggest upset since audleys last minute knockout of sprott

Bookies only offering 8/1 for Price
Re: If Price beats Povetkin...
David Pryce is in for s very painful night. Povetkin is top 3 in world excluding Fury who's inactive. Only lose to Klit at his prime, I'm predicting a ok inside 3 rounds if prycie wins it's the biggest upset since Horne beat pack man

Truax DeGale

If Price beats Povetkin then I will show my arse in Woolworths window.
(Yes, I know that Woolworths doesn’t exist any more but that doesn’t really matter in this scenario).

Re: If Price beats Povetkin...
Povetkin isn’t anything remotely special but any price on him is like giving money away.
Price is completely shot, his heids gone and as severely cruel a comment as it is (and as genuinely nice a man as he is) he is now completely gun shy.
Price has zero chance. Not a punchers. Nothing.
It’s a horrible, cynical fight. There more chance for a rabbit vs a combine!
