Joshua vs parker TGAO

Watching the gloves are off the other day and joshua to me looks nervous and not his usual self,i might be wrong but he doesnt look confident for this one. I can see parker doing him and crashing the party.

he has little power at even fringe world level (or raz cojanu level), hes much smaller, his defense is middling, and hes not really very skillful either

parker has faster hands imo, but overall this is lopsided for aj, parker gets overhyped, in part because hes got a belt. in reality i think hes lower top 10

He may well be distracted by all the talk of a Wilder fight, if so that might help Parker.
Let's face it, he will need all the help he can get.

I think the pressure is getting to Joshua a little. He keeps saying he can't afford to lose just now.

Parker is relaxed in comparison.

Let's see how they are on fight night though before the fight starts.

I still think Joshua wins but Parker strikes me as a guy who is ready to rise to the occasion.

I really like Parker and would be happy for him to win but it’s difficult to think he will.
Pre Wladimir perhaps Joshua may be rattled but now I don’t really think he will be shaky against anyone.

I don't think he's rattled by Parker. I think the pressure might be getting to him in general

Haven't seen it but I don't think Joshua has looked confident in any of them. He just isn't a natural for these shows. He cannot do trash talk and when he does it comes out odd.

I'd say judge him more in the ring, this isn't his first gig at the big stage where as Parker won't have been around a fight like this before.

I know what your saying and i seen the andy ruiz jnr fight and thought ruiz won but i just think joshua,for some reason,looks abit nervous. Before i seen TGAO i had joshua smashing him within 4 rounds but now im not so sure,might be just me lol

People read too much into these things IMO - a lot of cod psychology flying about.
I can't see anything other than a straightforward win for AJ - too big, too strong and Parker not bringing anything to pose problems to the table.

Seems similar to the build up to the Breazeale fight when he had glandular fever.

Actually thought it was parker that looked the more nervous of the two. But tbf parker doesn't really enjoy these things. Fancied him to cause Joshua problems but no sure he's going about it the right way ATM.

People saying these mind games don't matter but with a guy like aj....you need to get that mental edge. I don't think it would even be that hard to get either.

He's bigger, stronger, probably faster, more explosive, longer reach, beat a better opponent, fighting at home. At that stage you,ve got to unsettle him. Parkers team made a good start of it to get the fight signed but parkers pretty much undone the good work in the build up. Looks like a guy that's happy to play second fiddle. Tbf that's just his personality but the big event looks like its gonna pass him by at this rate. Joshua won't be hard to rile up either. Joshua's in control...you need to take that control out his hands. He's one of them guys that take offence to things. First steps finding that out. Second step....is totally offending him. Third step is walking him onto something when he fights on his emotion. Whyte done it perfectly in the build up. Joshua then went macho mode and almost paid for it. Its like these guys are scared to offend him in case he beats them bad for it.

Parker does have a quiet determination about him tbf....hopefully we see it on the 31st.

aj is not faster then parker. thats the one thing parker has at world class levels, at least in the hands. hes clearly quicker imo with his punches. takam said this too and singled out speed as joes advantage.

but ya, pretty much all else for aj, and in big amounts. not sure if parker will even get close enough to let his hands go much and land. hes not really that accurate either, the amount of clean punches he landed in his last 3 is very low.
