It's bad enough the guys heading into his second showdown with Canelo and Golden Boy's crookedness. Let's be honest, aside from a KO, there's NO WAY GGG wins a decision in Vegas in May in the rematch. I think that we all are smart enough to know that. In years past, GGG wouldn't say a peep because he knew that he would knock out anyone in his way. But now, he's gotten a little smarter and he's now saying what we all thought he should be saying since the tainted meat situation:

GGG on Canelo: "Again with Mexican meat? Come on," Golovkin said. "I told you, it's not Mexican meat. This is Canelo. This is his team. This is his promotion. Canelo is cheating. They're using these drugs, and everybody is just trying to pretend it's not happening.

"This guy, he knows. This is not his first day in boxing. He proves he gets benefits from everyone and he can get away with it. Check him on a lie detector and then we can find out everything."

GGG responds to the weigh in at the first fight and the pill taken by Canelo quickly after hitting the scales and more:
"It was pretty obvious when [Alvarez's] muscles were all [enlarged] ... and with the traces of injections, which were visible," Golovkin said. "Before the first fight, I knew he was not clean. I can talk about Oscar De La Hoya too. He is also not clean. He's dirty."
Golovkin's comments about injection marks stem from the fact that he and his promoter, Tom Loeffler, said they have been sent videos and photos of Alvarez apparently taking some kind of pill following the weigh-in for the fight in September, in addition to photos that show him having apparent injection marks on his abdomen.
"If nobody from the commission will cancel it, I will do my job," Golovkin said. "But this is a very hot topic about doping. What did he inject in his belly? What are the marks on his belly? Look at the photos. These questions should be asked of the commission."

Good for you GGG. Move on and find a new opponent where the deck isn't so stacked against you. This will paint Canelo in the correct light...a PED abuser along with a slew of other unfair advantages from the judges to ref's. This is not winnable, GGG.

Good post Caldo. The truth will hopefully come out, but I agree he should find another opponent. The deck is stacked against him not only with the PED situation, but judges too, as 99% of us know.

GBP will threaten a lawsuit now to shut GGG up.

Looking at how Canelo's body changed, I wouldn't be surprised if he used growth hormone.

I really hope GGG doesn't walk away, because he deserves the win. If he does walk away, then you know that Canelo and GBP will take it as GGG "knows he'll get beat!" And take it as a win.

I'm with Golovkin on this one. He should walk away from this fight and face Saunders instead. A principled stance ultimately enhances his reputation and sullies Alverez's especially when he'd be walking away from a payday higher than he will get against Saunders.

Would his sanctioning bodies support him or abandon him do you think?

It'd be the greatest thing ever if in spite of Canelo having the deck stacked against him in all these ways GGG stopped his ass anyway.

However at this point I don't think any of us would blame GGG if he sought another opponent.

That's the other option Gil. He continues with the fight but says he is taking it to try and prove that cheats shouldn't prosper by beating Canelo.. Unfortunately it still kinda legitimises the fight and Canelo still gets paid. It's a bigger statement for me if he walks away.

I strongly doubt, as their sanctioning fees from another fight would be significantly lower. WBC and WBA already voiced their support for Canelo.

Unfortunately I suspect you are going to be proved right. Would be nice if Golovkin took a stand though.

The boxing public, meaning fans mostly, have all heard of Canelo testing dirty, so GGG refusing to fight a ped user would actually help his legacy while it would hurt Canelo's.
I hope GGG pulls out, but if he decided to fight, I'll pick him by ko. I think GGG is truly pissed off and wants to make a statement.

Agreed, i wouldn't mind GGG pulling out but personally i think he will win as well. I thought he would win this 2nd time anyway since i don't see how Canelo can do any better than he did last time. Canelo will always be a 6 round fighter no matter what he does in training. Golovkin on the hand has a better chance of improving on the flaws he had in the first fight.

This scandal will also probly hurt Canelo mentally, and places more pressure on him as well.

He should use the jab and footwork like he did in the 1st round with Lemieux... Golovkin is taller with greater range, and has a better jab -- so it would be an excellent strategy for him... He should keep it up for the whole fight, get the wide decision victory and say.... "This was not my normal boxing style... I had to box because he's cheating... He's too strong."

He does look like someone who has taken HGH.

Manny and Marquez too, both of their heads changed drastically, their skulls clearly thickened a great deal from taking HGH.

There is a recent article on Fight Hype and it basically states that Golovkin could be distracting himself and cannot focus on a game plan because of his "paranoia." It's Golovkin's opinion based on evidence about Canelo. I don't think it distracts him at all.

I agree. I thought many of GGG's problems in the first fight came from him leaning over his front foot and lunging in for punches, and getting countered when over-extended.

I think if he used more footwork and made Canelo come to him a bit more he would do a bit better.
