Former ABA light-welterweight champion Carl Wall has won his appeal against a conviction for assaulting his partner.
She didn't turn up to give evidence at his appeal in Warrington on Friday.
James Cullen, prosecuting, said: "It appears the defendant and the complainant are now reconciled. Recently they have been on holiday together. It doesn't appear to be in the public interest to make any further attempts to contact her."
Wall, was living with Stephanie Davies in Widnes at the time of the incident in January. He was convicted of common assault and given a 100-hour community punishment order after magistrates heard he punched Ms Davies several times in a domestic dispute.
