Hughie Fury will fight Sam Sexton for the British heavyweight title at Bolton's Macron Stadium on May 12th and live on Channel 5

i beleive sam sexton will beat hughie fury

what i wonder is what personally will be getting
I mean it is live on terrestrial TV prime time Saturday evening

i recken mabey 20 grand each ?

With several months notice and live TV coverage it will be a travesty if they earn those sorts of sums. Surely fwank and Eddie would have been interested in the British heavyweight championship for some of their fighters if it was so cheap ? I had assumed mick threw decent money at this....

I think it’s peferctly reasonable for promoters to pay based off of what they are able to make from the fight. If they didn’t do this and continually paid the fighters more than what they get back then it makes for a business model that doesn’t last for very long.

Fair enough I just wouldn't expect the British heavyweight championship to be contested live on mainstream tv for like ten grand apiece or something like that. Sexton presumably got several offers and I would have thought they'd be decent.
