James Hare v David Barnes - Set for November 12th?

Post by DavidPayne »

All the parties involved contributed, hopefully a clearer picture of when the fight will happen emerges. Whats clear from all this, is everyone involved WANTS the fight, and I for one cannot wait to see it.

Read about it here.

Why did it fall through the first time? I am still sticking with Barnes for this fight.

Should be a cracking fight if/when made.

If Hare wins I reckon Hare Vs Jennings wouldn't be a bad fight either.

Domestically, its a hot division.

Barnes, Sinclair, Hare, Khaliq, Magee?...the list is growing...

What's happened to Khaliq BTW...is he injured or inactive?

Also do you know if Hare and Khaliq used to train at the Ingle gym?

Not sure on the gym thing. Possibly. On the Khaliq future, I think the Andrew Lewis fight is still in the mix but it seems some snags have developed.

They were hoping for October for that fight so something should be clear by now.

Khaliq just seems to be going nowhere and that's a shame because apart from being a talented boxer with a punch, he has that champion like habit of knowing how to come up with a winning formula almost regardless of the opponent.

Andrew Lewis is damaged goods and I can't see this making any inroads to a genuine world title, but if Jav is happy with this then....

8) Agree with that...

I was also thinking that if Amir Khan turns pro it wouldn't do him any harm to fight on a couple of Khaliq undercards...instead of making him the headliner straightaway.
