Judging by the size he looked the other day, some one must have hidden the food tray.

"After the fighters 'weighed in' there was the traditional ‘staredown’. Then as the tension rose Toney hit Booker and both sides stepped in and pulled the fighters apart. According to our witness Booker blew Toney a kiss and that’s when “Lights Out” sucker punched Rydell.

Toney's entourage tried to heckle Booker and his trainer off the stage. Booker was accompanied only by trainer Henry Hill, manager John Carlisle and cutsman Jim Westmoreland.

When the Toney camp was unable to heckle Booker off the stage, an attempt was made to physically remove them. The free for all was brought under control by Pechanga security.

Booker sprained his ankle in the tussle. At last report, Booker was being examined by physicians to determine whether his twisted ankle will jeopardize the fight."

James Toney is a disgrace to boxing. People talk about him being a great pro, but that ain't professionalism.

One heavyweight punching another unexpectedly without gloves on - of course the recipient would suffer appalling injuries.

If I was the District Attorney where it happened I would prosecute him for assault.

I know a lot of people like James Toney's trash talking but personally I can't stand it and for me it detracts from his achievements as a fighter.

It seems to go well beyond being tongue in cheek and just downright rude. Personally despite his skills I think his status as a heavyweight contender is more to do with the state of the division.

With JT nowadays I think you either love him or you hate him - for me it's the latter.

Lest we forget, Lennox Lewis attacked Mike Tyson at their press conference, and Hasim Rahman.

I often think it is ill advised to do the staredown when you have two heavyweights up there. It's a point of extreme tension and with two big testosterone filled men up there, it's hardly surprising if someone loses their cool.

I don't think Toney can help himself, he's just a bit of a hothead.

As for looking fat, I saw Toney in training (on max) and he looked to be in excellent shape, ignore the gut, he looked thickset and very very strong.
