The Cavalcade of Champions NEWSLETTER

Post by HomicideHenry »

The Cavalcade of Champions is on a roll indeed... Jack Johnson is happy that an injustice perpetrated by Murray Woroner's in 1967 has been finally put to bed with Johnson's easy pickings over Madcap Maxie: "It's hunting season and I have already bagged me one bear, so why not another?", said the greatest heavyweight of the first half of the 20th century in reference to his match with the lumbering Buddy Baer that's upcoming.

Tyson Fury the self proclaimed "Gypsy King" making his first appearance since his tactical battle with Wladimir Klitschko, made "Baby Joe" look like a victim of child abuse after that lopsided decision victory last week. "I'm here to prove without question or doubt that I am STILL the best Heavyweight of the modern era! I cracked the Klitschko code, and I'm taking back what is rightfully mine!", said the ever confident 6'9" giant from Manchester. Love him or hate him, the Mack has returned!

Jean Marc Mormeck dominated cruiserweight pioneer Marvin Camel in seven brutal rounds last week. The Frenchman, when asked about his upcoming match with Al Cole this week, said: "After I knock him out, just like Camel, I will bid him adieu!"

Amanda Serrano has had a tremendous month overall as a fighter. First, having a stellar debut in the world of MMA, and secondly defeating the legendary Mia St John in a competitive contest in last week's series of events. "Mia fought her (Christy Martin) twice; both bouts were life and death struggles. I beat Mia soundly, I believe Martin will be just as likely a victory for me," said the five-division champion in reference to this week's bout with "The Coal Miners Daughter".

Promoter HomicideHenry says that the best has yet to come. "Johnson is keeping a close eye on Jim Jeffries and Muhammad Ali. Despite his good humor and suaveness he's dead set on being the best Heavyweight of all time."

HH continues, "Fury he's on a mission, and that's to carve out a legacy as the best Heavyweight since Lennox Lewis; that he's deserving of the same recognition as Tyson, Holyfield, and other all-time greats. He's got one name, and one name only, on his mind and that's Anthony Joshua."

Futhermore, "Mormeck truly does believe he's among the top five greatest cruiserweights in boxing history. He's confident that he'll prove that down the line. He wants James Toney. He wants David Haye again. He wants Evander. I have little doubt he'll get those chances soon enough."

Lastly, "Amanda Serrano has simply cleaned out five separate divisions in women's boxing. That's never been done before. Yet, she doesn't get the praise like Holly Holm and Cecelia Braekhus gets. She's beautiful, she's skillful, and she's tough as they come. Don't let sex appeal get in the way of her value. She's going to prove in the end that she's in a class all of her own."

I think one of my boys might be looking to smack that so called Gypsy King of yours around in Week 4 or so.

How's that for a headline?

I'm gonna get 'em a little seasoning in Weeks 2 and 3, but come Week 4 I get the feeling EITHER of my fighters would be willing to tangle with Fury. He'll have to change his name to Tyson Subdued after he tangles with my boys.

I think considering Evan Fields couldn't cut the mustard against Jim Jeffries, which our man Jack Johnson slapped silly in Reno over 100 years ago.... He doesn't deserve to step in the ring with the lineal Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury :box: he needs to prove himself.

As for your man Kenny Norton  as long as he doesn't mind having flashbacks of his fight with Gentleman Giant Gerry Cooney.... I'm sure an arrangement can be made in week #3 or #4 for the 6'9" 250 pound Fury to make Mandingo feel pretty small in that ring :KO:

Call it Week 4 and you're on for Kenny vs Fury. I'll have Kenny as prepared as possible by then, and also Kenny doesn't know what the hell you're talking about in reference to Cooney he's never fought Gerry Cooney. He's only just begun his career sir. You need to get your Sim facts straight, and quit confusing this World with some weird parallel universe where you believe something happened that hasn't. :D

Also 100 years ago certainly has no bearing on This Sim season which only began last week :OhYes:

Evan's Field ? Sounds like a venue more than anything else. Maybe a place for Max Schmeling to give Tyson Fury a wedgy, and send his goofy arse back to that little Island off the coast of the Eurasian Continent.

Well considering my man is the 2013 version of Fury  I don't have much doubt that Mr Schmeling could probably do the deed... But hell why not, week #3?

Lmao it only took him 12 rounds to do it, and my guy (unfortunately) didn't even make the rankings list, so I wouldn't get a big head too early... Next week Jack Johnson may just want to show Max how boxing is really done :box:

Slow down, Max has no quarrel with Jack.......and your lack of diplomacy is not likely to get Max mad enough to lower the boom on his good friend Jack. Tread carefully here.....we are not to be trifled with, and did not come here to be made sport of.

I think a stable war is a good idea.

Jack vs Max
Vonda vs Serrano
And hell why not our two other fighters battle it out as well?
