Freddie King - RIP

One of boxing's greatest unsung trainers, Freddie King, has passed away at the age of 79. Freddie trained the likes of Steve Collins, Eamonn Loughran, Paul "Silky" Jones and Herbie Hide in his years as Matchroom trainer, all of whom won world titles, and was also Godparent to Eddie Hearn.

I only noticed this today when I was looking at the London EBA website, sad loss, a really good bloke and a great trainer.
