Somewhere out there now...

Post by Crease »

Somewhere out there now... In the frozen wastes of Siberia...

A man waits... And has been waiting...

Waiting for the chance to prove himself...

Craving the chance to live up to the family name...

His father was a titan of Sim History....

A fighter unlike any that has been seen before...

He knows how good his father was....

He has watched all the tapes....

He knows that his father was THE BEST!!!

But people have forgotten...

But he vows to remind them!!!

And so here he sits awaiting the call...

As he has been doing for years...

The phone rings...

His taxi pulls up...

He gets out and moves through the glass doors ahead of him...

Mr Crease & Mr Fist introduce themselves...

He exchanges pleasantries.....

Then says: "I WANT ROSENBLOOM".....

They agree, the fight will happen next....

THERE'S A NEW PLAYER IN TOWN!!!

AND HE HAS ARRIVED!!!!

I managed to get a brief interview with our new fighter

FOL: hello, would you like to introduce yourself to the sim world?

DD: I am Drazen Durakovic Jr. my father is Sim Hall of Famer Drazen "2 sik" Durakovic, they call me "2 thik".

FOL: Ahh yes "2 sik" Durakovic, a true legend of sim sports he was never defeated.

DD: I will also never be defeated.

FOL: Bold claim Mr. Durakovic, let me ask you about your first opponent Maxie Rosenbloom, what do think will happen in that fight?

DD: I've watched all of his fights in the tournament and I am not impressed , he was knocked out by Joe Louis in the 4th round in between Tournament fights and I will do it in 1 round. Joe Louis is weak compared to me.

FOL: another bold claim and I'm sure Mr. Rosenbloom will have something to say about your statements, as will Mr. Louis.

DD: I am here to dominate like my father once did, the Durakovic name will once again be atop the Sim boxing world, Now I must leave to continue my training.

FOL: thank you for your time and good luck in your upcoming fights.

DD: I don't need luck, I will crush and destroy all who stand in my way.

Dabbling with DNA, harnessing the power of the Tesserat, steam punk tom foolery, and bio engineering from "The Greys" is not what Marcus of Queensbury is about.

Shut down this experimental mockery and get back to the good work of the Commish....stop this miming of some mad scientists dream run amuck.

I have to say I agree. An unbeatable force that is an abomination to the very essence of the Marquis of Queensbury's vision of sport in a just world...cannot stand.

Good day sir :salut:

I have it on good authority that Gilgamesh stands ready to send his top stable talent to put an end to this baloney post haste.

Now, now...we've discussed this. I wouldn't do anything to mess up the Golden Buzz's chance to make such a statement 1st.

Marcus of Queensbury? Young Drazen would hit him so hard his descendants would feel it...
