I'm confused as to why Darchinyan is listed as being of Armenian nationality when he took out Australian citizenship many years ago?
I noticed this when I was looking up the all-time list of Australian fighters; Darchinyan was notable by his absence.
Can this be changed, and/or explained to me what the policy is on this?

Re: Vic Darchinyan -- Australian citizen
I think that the main line has been that nationality is the one where one has "learned to box". As an Armenian ex-olympian, Vic is Armenian 1st. Besides - Australia allows for dual citizenship so who is to say that he has given up his claim to Armenian passport?
P.S. Actually - it is MOST LIKELY he has a dual citizenship as
1) Australia has no restrictions on dual citizenships
2) Armenian citizenship can ONLY be lost via special application and approval procedure
As a (likely) dual citizen, Darchinyan should remain listed as Armenian because that is his original nationality and that he is original boxing nation.
