Re: DeGale vs Uzcategui goes to purse bid
Based on numerous interviews I’ve seen with Fŗānk Wāŗŗĕn, it seems that James DeGale has two options:
• Fight Jose Uzcategui in a high-risk low-return bout
• Fight Billy Joe Saunders in a slightly-lower risk, but a much higher-return bout
I’ll probably be incorrect about this prediction, but my guess is that James DeGale will try to face Saunders and ask the IBF to allow an exception or perhaps even vacate his title, since apparently Fŗānk Wāŗŗĕn has already booked the O2 in London for September 15th to stage the all-British fight.

If he vacates then Uzcstegui becomes full titleholder. But then DeGale shouldn’t care too much about titles right now. I feel like his career has been cut short due to him having tough fights since he won the IBF strap. Most shouldn’t have been tough.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑26 Jun 2018, 04:05 Based on numerous interviews I’ve seen with Fŗānk Wāŗŗĕn, it seems that James DeGale has two options:

This could be the last time we see DeGale in the ring I fear.
